MistaJay: I was a big fan of the hip-hop my first experience was hearing slick Rick on the block as a child I wrote my first song in 5 grade One mic: What message do you deliver in your music? MistaJay: I want to talk about real life politics and the music game itself. One mic: Who were some of the musicians that were your favorites growing up? MistaJay: In hip-hop it was Krs-One Rakim Wu-Tang ICE CUBE Snoop Dogg and Tupac. One mic: What’s the updates on any new projects that your working on? MistaJay: The Album that is ready to drop is one heartbeat away with features from my group the Empires Prince Imperial and Speak No E as well as other artists from outside the collective The FatBoy, Ed E.
